Bowmer & Kirkland are appointed to the ESFA’s national construction framework and are the contractor appointed under this framework to construct the Turing House School project. Bowmer & Kirkland are one of the UK’s largest privately owned construction contractors and are active in most market sectors, including education. As main contractor for the scheme Bowmer & Kirkland will manage all aspects of the project to ensure the works are carried out safely, on time, to the right quality and with the least disruption possible to neighbours.

DPP are a national town planning consultancy advising both public and private agencies on the delivery of development projects. DPP are advising Turing House School, the ESFA and Bowmer and Kirkland on the proposals for a permanent home for Turing House School. Our role is to manage the Planning process, advise on the Planning issues raised and to liaise with Planning Officers at LBRuT and the GLA.

Robert West are developing the transport strategy and designing access to Turing House School’s permanent site. Our objective is to ensure that the new school has facility to support sustainable travel, maximise opportunity to promote non-car travel to the site and minimise impacts on the surrounding area.

Robert West has extensive experience in education projects and in the last three years has helped deliver over 100 schools within London. These included new schools, expansions to existing schools and temporary school accommodations. Robert West was also involved in delivering temporary sites for Turing House School.

Stride Treglown Architects are working with the project team to identify the school’s aspirations and design a secondary school that best supports their educational vision whilst being sympathetic to the specific site context. Stride Treglown are experienced school designers with a deep, practical understanding of how optimal teaching and learning is achieved at all stages of education which they apply to create adaptable, inspiring, and sustainable places for learning.

Ares Landscape Architects have worked with Bowmer & Kirkland in collaboration with the ESFA for many years to develop and create site masterplans and successful educational external spaces throughout the UK. Ares have forged a relationship with B&K that has helped define effective and successful educational sites each unique for the individual schools needs. Working very closely with Stride Treglown and the design team, Ares have developed a scheme for Turing House School that has maximised the potential of the site and delivers on the aspirations of the school.

Stonyrock are working with Turing House School, the ESFA and Bowmer & Kirkland to facilitate the community consultation on the permanent site proposals. Stonyrock provide clients with the tools to engage with neighbourhoods throughout the planning process from scheme conception to completion. By enabling conversations we help the project team understand the views of residents and other stakeholders.
