TURING HOUSE SCHOOL COMMUNITY CONSULTATION UPDATE
The public exhibitions on plans to build a permanent home for Turing House School on Hospital Bridge Road are taking place this week.
Hundreds of local people have already had their say on plans for Turing House School ahead of the exhibitions and the project team are encouraging as many local people as possible to have their say.
More details of the plans for Turing House School’s permanent home will be available to view at a public exhibition this Friday 13th July, 3pm-8pm and Saturday 14th July, 10am-2pm at Whitton Methodist Church, Percy Road, TW2 6JL.
One suggestion from the community feedback received so far, from neighbours of the site and parents of Turing House students, is to provide a secondary access point to the new school via Heathfield Recreation Ground. The project team are carefully reviewing this option for possible inclusion in the planning application.
Edwin Sutton from Bowmer & Kirkland (main contractor for the project) said, “We are pleased that so many local people are taking part in our consultation for the Turing House School permanent home and hope that many of them will also come along to our exhibitions this week.”
Members of the community are encouraged to have their say on the plans at www.anewhomeforturinghouse.co.uk where all the information shared at the exhibitions will be available after the events.
